Board-Certified Orthodontist · AAO Member
Dr. Brandon Zipper is a board-certified orthodontist who grew up right here in South Florida. He built Zipper Orthodontics to give patients in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach access to modern, health-first orthodontic care — without the corporate feel.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, and completed his orthodontic residency at Temple University, where he also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
Dr. Zipper takes a health-first approach to every treatment plan. That means biocompatible, BPA-free materials, airway evaluation as part of every exam, and digital scanning technology — no goopy impressions. His philosophy is simple: a great smile should also mean better breathing, better sleep, and better overall health.
Dr. Zipper is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) — a voluntary credential that fewer than 30% of practicing orthodontists have earned. Board certification is not required to practice orthodontics. Earning it means Dr. Zipper chose to go beyond the minimum requirements to prove his knowledge and clinical skill at the highest level.
After completing an accredited orthodontic residency, a board-certified orthodontist must pass a rigorous written examination and then present treated patient cases to a panel of ABO examiners for clinical evaluation. It is the only credential that tests an orthodontist's actual treatment results — not just their knowledge.
When you choose a board-certified orthodontist, you are choosing a provider who has voluntarily submitted their work for peer review and passed the highest standard of evaluation in the specialty. It means Dr. Zipper's clinical results have been judged by other orthodontic experts — and met the mark. Board certification must also be renewed, requiring ongoing proof of continued education and clinical excellence.
How to verify: You can confirm Dr. Zipper's board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics website. His Florida Dental License (DN23812) is verifiable through the Florida Department of Health.
Every treatment plan starts with an airway evaluation. Dr. Zipper looks beyond tooth alignment to address how jaw position and bite affect breathing, sleep quality, and overall health.
Biocompatible, BPA-free materials throughout. Clear aligners made from medical-grade thermoplastic, adhesives free of harmful chemicals, and digital scans instead of chemical impressions.
No two smiles are the same. Every patient receives a treatment plan built from their specific goals, anatomy, and lifestyle — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
